As the founder and CEO of Trader-on-Wheels, Inc. Wayne Satterlee brings with him more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur. This includes warehousing and trucking for more than 25 years across the country. While creating Trader-On-Wheels in August of 2001 I decided that breaking the advertising norm needed to be a priority. After spending thousands of dollars over the years advertising my businesses I realized excellent advertisement did not have to be that expensive.
We have done our homework and do very, very well on the search engines. You can check out some of the search engine results by clicking on the Dealer Info button in the menu to the left of the page. We are averaging 30,000 visits a month and 30 page views per visit. Our visitors are targeted traffic all looking for specific items and all related to semi trucks.
Two ways to get your equipment added
We have two versions of our pricing plans. The major difference is who uploads the info to the site. One plan is for you to do the up-loads. Another option is for us to up-load your inventory for you. We do up-dates on inventory every two weeks. You may add up to 12 photos per unit. We have discovered the more photos you add, the more contacts you will receive. Your photos will be converted to video as long as you have two or more photos on any one unit.
Each unit on the site will receive random selections of music and that music will be different each time you look at that truck. We use a variety of songs from country to blues etc.
You may also add a voice over to any single unit OR your entire inventory if you’d like. If you need any help on how to do that you can check out the tutorials page. It will walk you through the process step by step!
